So I guess I'm messed up enough to qualify for some program at The Christian Sarkine Autism Treatment Center due to my Asperger's. The program is kind of cool and operates off of some grant which means my insurance isn't billed.

The funny thing is, every correspondance I get from these guys starts with:

I guess they don't get that many adults going into the program :-)

Speaking of Asperger's, I have something Aspergian to share which happened recently. I guess a weekend or two ago it was Father's Day. Well, if you recall, my father passed last year.

Well, I guess this is a non-standard and very Aspergian response to the situation but, on Father's Day, I actually was kind of happy I didn't have to call anyone. I mean, it's basically one more day per year that I don't have to deal with some obligation of calling up someone.

It's not that I don't or didn't love my father, I do and did. It's also not that I don't miss him, I do. It's just that I don't understand the need of calling someone at some regular defined interval to have to prove to them (or me) that I love them.
